The Preparatory School poetry final took place today with “choice” as the theme. There was a broad interpretation of this theme with poems about the environment, life choices, school and food! Every child in the Prep School participated in the class rounds and from those rounds, a class finalist was chosen to participate for the junior prize (Years 3 and 4), senior prize (Years 5 and 6) and overall winner. Congratulations to the following children:

  • Senior prize winner: Finlay H ‘A Poem About School’ by Ms Moem.
  • Overall prize winner: Sofia DS A ‘Life Doesn’t Frighten Me’ by Maya Angelou
