Year 1 bond with grandparents at tea party

Year 1 had a great time with their grandparents at last week’s tea party. The Pre-Prep School were blessed with glorious weather for this event as it was the hottest day of the year. It was so lovely to see families come from far and wide to join together at our school. Some grandparents even flew from overseas to be there!

Delicious cakes and sandwiches were served…and of course we couldn’t forget the scones with jam and cream!

Grandparents also watched the children sing some songs that they have been learning this term.

Later on, the children showed their grandparents their classrooms and the school work they had produced this year. The grandparents loved seeing how much they had learnt and grown over this year.
