On Monday 25 April, Year 3 took a trip to Tudor times and immersed themselves in the past on their visit to Ufton Court.

Over the course of the day, they made bows and arrows, played Tudor games, toured the grounds being history detectives and took part in an audacious raid.

One of the many highlights was the Tudor banquet, dressed in traditional clothes the children enjoyed a feast of meat, bread and potatoes, followed by a rather delicious cake.

We were delighted with the children’s enthusiasm and engagement and were extremely proud of their behaviour throughout the day. Not only did they learn a lot of interesting Tudor facts, but they also had a lot of fun!
