Year 6 went off to the West End on Wednesday afternoon for a Wicked performance at the theatre. It’s an intriguing story of good and evil and was interesting to speak to the pupils at the interval and afterwards about their perceptions of the characters. We are sure seeing a professional show will help them as they rehearse for their own production at the end of the year as well – look out for when Porridge tickets go on sale. The pupils endured a torrid journey back too, displaying great patience and every member of the public we spoke to in the theatre commented on how well behaved they all were. The on-stage kiss in act 2 provoked audible disgust from the children but on the whole, they enjoyed it!
