Year 7 offer holder day – Offer to Onboard

The Offer Holder Day 2026, held at Claremont on Saturday 7 February, was a highly successful and engaging event which warmly welcomed pupils who have been offered a place in September, along with their families.

The day provided an excellent opportunity for offer holders to deep dive into senior school life. Pupils took part in a range of interactive taster sessions led by subject teachers, giving them a flavour of the enriching curriculum and allowing them to experience learning in a senior school setting. These sessions were well received, with pupils showing enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored new subjects and met future classmates.

While pupils were immersed in activities, parents attended a welcome talk from the deputy head’s. This provided valuable insight into the school’s vision, pastoral care and academic journey ahead. Families also benefited from a pupil panel, where current students shared their experiences and answered questions, helping to build confidence and excitement about joining the school community.

In addition, parents had the opportunity to explore the information terminals located in the Mansion, enabling them to learn more about key aspects of school life, co curricular opportunities and support available.
