Ducklings hatch in Pre-Prep

This week saw the first signs of spring at Claremont, with the ducklings in Reception hatching. The incubated eggs arrived at Pre-Prep early last week and have since hatched to reveal some very small and fluffy ducklings! The children have been learning all about the birds and have been keeping track of them by writing in their ‘duckling diaries’. A highlight of looking after them has been watching the ducklings do their very first swim, which one of the pupils compared to their own swimming lessons!
