Year 1 forest school pond dipping

Year 1 children have been learning all about pond life during their forest school sessions this week. They have enjoyed spotting and catching a variety of different insects and creatures living in the Pre-Prep and Nursery School pond, including a large dragonfly nimph which was met with great excitement whilst pond dipping.

The pond was restored last year and has become a fantastic outdoor learning resource for the children.
